Let it Snow!

The first figures finished  at my new bench! I chose to do some American troops in winter gear. The figures are Korean War Marines by Dragon but I gave them white helmet covers so they could in WW2 if I need them too. The first figure I modeled after a good friend of mine that served as a sniper in the 936th Field Artillery Battalion during the Korean Conflict. The Soviet and German sniper teams are nearing completion as well.

  1. These look great. I have currently changed my table to a snowy background and wondered what you used for basing these figures?

    1. JTT Miniature makes a small packet of snow powder. I had some trouble using it but I think it was my glue. In the United States Hobby Lobby has it and with a 40% off coupon the packet is less than 2 dollars. If you need a bigger quantity, Woodland Scenics makes a large container of it and I think the quality is comparable.

  2. Very nice, I find your blog very inspiring. I am quite "into" the larger scale figures just now.
